What are you listening to lately? Lots of minimalist composers like Steve Reich and Terry Riley. I also can't stop listening to the late Beethoven piano sonatas. Sorry. It's not very honky-tonk.

Why do you play honky tonk music? It's a wolf in sheep's clothing. So simple-sounding on the outside, but clever and technical on the inside, and rife with tradition, struggle, heartache -- all that good life stuff.

What really pays the bills? I am the lead software developer for Four Winds Interactive, a digital signage software company in Denver.

Guilty Pleasure, Junk Food Cereal Category: Frosted Mini Wheats. (I just lick the frosting off, and feed the wheaty part to my chinchillas.)
